Tarpitz Gardening & Landscapes
In 1999 Grant Greenleaf Cox started Tarpitz Gardening - named after his favorite surf spot. Grant's passion for plants began at an early age, as he was raised amongst the flower farming community in his hometown of Carpinteria, California. His first job at the age of 14 was working at his family's company, Carpinteria Wholesale Floral.
His brother, sister-in-law and he took over the business and revamped it and changed the name to ShipRite Floral. When hard times hit the floral industry in the mid 90's, Grant set out on his own with a '67 black Chevy truck and one employee. Tarpitz Gardening began as a small, full-service landscape maintenance company, servicing clients' yards throughout Santa Barbara County.
Today, Tarpitz Gardening & Landscapes serves over 100 clients up and down the California Coast. We specialize and take pride in keeping our clients' yards thriving and healthy, and most especially, 'Growing Relationships'.
Greenleaf Landscapes
In 2002 Grant's business expanded - Greenleaf Landscapes was born. Greenleaf specializes in making our clients' landscape dreams a reality!
We specialize in a variety of services including Irrigation, Lighting, Drainage, Hardscapes, Masonry Work, Decks, Pergolas, Water Features, Fencing, Plant Procurement, Small & Large Scale Plant Installation - you name it, we can do it! Greenleaf Landscapes believes in "Growing Relationships" and we pride ourselves in our ability to work with our clients to create their dream design - while sticking to their budget. We make sure that every dollar spent will add value to our clients' properties.

With over 50 employees the day to day operations of Grant Cox Enterprises, Inc. required hard work and dedication. Grant, and his wife Beth, ensure the happiness of their clients, as well as their employees.
